NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT March 2, 2021 9:30 A.M.
The Commissioners Court of Williamson County, Texas will meet in regular session in the Commissioners Courtroom, 710 Main Street, in Georgetown, Texas to consider the following items:
1. Review and approval of minutes.
2. Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
3. Public Comment Period. The Commissioners Court will conduct a Public Comment Period to allow members of the public to address the Court regarding matters pertaining to or affecting Williamson County but that do not appear as an Agenda Item on a meeting’s Agenda. During such Public Comment Period, speakers shall be limited to a maximum of two (2) minutes to make his/her remarks and the maximum overall discussion time allowed for the Public Comment Period, regardless of the number of members of the public wishing to address the Court during such period, shall be limited to ten (10) minutes. Speaking time, to the extent possible, will be evenly allocated among speakers should more than five (5) speakers desire to speak during the Public Comment Period. Please note that the members of the Court may not comment at the meeting about matters that are not on the agenda.

24. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the approval of The Purpose Project resolution for Juvenile Services.
25. Consider and take appropriate action to adopt a fee schedule related to Pretrial Services Reimbursement Fees for Williamson County Pretrial Services, being effective March 8, 2021.
26. Consider approving request to issue a call for projects that will utilize Community Development Block Grant funds for the FY21 funding cycle.
27. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on matters relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations in Williamson County, to include, but not be limited to hearing an update on administration of vaccines in Williamson County, coordination and programming of vaccination sites, locations and/or clinics, and communication and outreach efforts regarding vaccinations.
29. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on exempting from the competitive bidding requirement purchases made during the February 2021 Winter Weather Storm event as per Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(1) [being items purchased in a case of public calamity since it was necessary to make the purchase promptly to relieve the necessity of the citizens or to preserve the property of the county] and Texas Local Government Code 262.024.(a)(2) [being items necessary to preserve or protect the public health or safety of the residents of the county].
30. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding employment of the law firm of Killen, Griffin & Farrimond to represent Williamson County in connection with the City of Austin’s purchase of property located within Williamson County for purposes of operating temporary or permanent housing of homeless individuals, and to assist Williamson County in availing itself of any and all legal remedies in relation to such matter; and exemption of those attorney services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Section 262.024(a)(4) of the Texas Local Government Code.
31. Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving purchase for Williamson County Expo Roof Demolition Agreement between Building Abatement Demolition Company, Inc. and Williamson County for demolition services in the not-to-exceed amount of $15,000.00, exempting this purchase/agreement from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption (state TLCG 262.024 section of the exemption), and authorizing the execution of the agreement, and any related necessary items to address emergency repairs.
32. Receive updates on the Department of Infrastructure projects and issues.
33. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive sealed bids for Southwest Regional Park Parking Lot Fog Seal under IFB T3336. Funding source: P563

The Commissioners Court of Williamson County, Texas will meet in regular session in the Commissioners Courtroom, 710 Main Street, in Georgetown, Texas to consider the following items:
