NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S COURT JANUARY 10TH, 2017 9:30 A.M.

The Commissioner’s Court of Williamson County, Texas will meet in regular session in the Commissioner's Courtroom, 710 Main Street, in Georgetown, Texas to consider the following items:

1. Review and approval of minutes.

2. Consider noting in minutes any off right-of-way work on any County road done by Road & Bridge Division.

3. Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.

4. Citizen comments. Except when public hearings are scheduled for later in the meeting, this will be the only opportunity for citizen input. The Court invites comments on any matter affecting the county, whether on the Agenda or not. Speakers should limit their comments to three minutes. Note that the members of the Court may not comment at the meeting about matters that are not on the agenda.

14. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the disposal of various of various county assets through inter-departmental transfer including (1) Surface Pro 8 with charger and mouse and (1) Dell Laptop (see attached list) pursuant to Tx. Local Code 263.152.

15. Discuss and take appropriate action on approving the 2017 Williamson County Investment Policy and entering said policy into the official minutes of the Williamson County Commissioners Court. No changes from the 2016 Investment Policy are proposed.

16. Discuss and take appropriate action to note in the Minutes the continuing education hours for TX Assoc. of Counties Certified Investment Officer and the County Investment Academy on behalf of County Clerk Nancy E. Rister.

17. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on accepting and approving a report on the Williamson County Expo Project; Change Order # 19 in the amount of $29,545.25 for additional miscellaneous work necessary for the completion of the original design intent, functionality of the facility and accommodations for events during construction; which was executed by Dale Butler pursuant to the previous grant of authority under Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code.

19. Receive and ratify order authorizing interment of deceased Williamson County resident Heidi Nicholson where there has been no inquest by the justice of the peace and the county has duty to inter, pursuant to Tex. Health & Safety Code Sec. 711.002(e), and allow nursing home and funeral home involved to move forward with interment while assuming all costs.

20. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving compensation changes, position titles changes, position grade changes and any corresponding line item transfers.

21. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on reappointing Garry Guthrie to the Emergency Service District No. 3 Board with their term commencing effective on January 1, 2017 and continuing thereafter until December 31, 2017.

22. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on re-appointing Dan Hejl, Mike Cooper, and Irvin (Butch) Miller to the Emergency Service District (ESD) No. 3 Board with their term commencing effective on January 1, 2017 and continuing thereafter until December 31, 2018.

23. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on re-appointing Robert Avant, Mike Rinderknecht and Jon Fischer to the Emergency Service District (ESD) NO. 10 Board with their terms commencing effective on January 1, 2017 and continuing thereafter until December 31, 2018.

24. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding the request of Constable Precinct Four, for the approval of David David R. Moore to the open deputy constable position pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov't Code 86.011

25. Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding request of Constable Precinct One for approval of Gary L. Wise to the open deputy constable position in precinct one pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov't Code 86.011
